All-metal body and 2.5K 144Hz display

The laptop features an all-metal body that is 15.9mm thin and weighs 1.59kg. It is MIL-STD-810H certified for durability. The display is a 2.5K 144Hz panel with 100% sRGB coverage and 400 nits brightness, and it includes TUV low blue light and flicker-free certification. The system offers 40 TOPS of total AI compute through a CPU+GPU+NPU architecture. It comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Ports include two USB-A 3.2, two USB-C 3.2, HDMI 2.1 TMDS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The webcam is 1080p.

The Vivobook 16 SE 2026 is equipped with a 52.5Wh battery that ASUS claims can deliver up to 21.9 hours of battery life. It supports USB-C charging at 5-20V.

The laptop was introduced at an event focused on Intel's 18A process technology. The 3rd Gen Intel Core 5 processor, codenamed Wildcat Lake, is built on that process. ASUS has not confirmed pricing or availability details beyond the China launch.
