Lexar has launched a new co-branded storage series featuring the Argentina national football team. The lineup includes three products: the SL500 portable SSD, the Air portable SSD, and the D500 dual-interface USB drive.
Three products debut with fast speeds and team branding
The SL500 offers sequential read speeds up to 2000MB/s and write speeds up to 1800MB/s over USB 3.2 Gen 2×2. The Air weighs 19 grams and is 6mm thick, with capacities up to 1TB and read/write speeds of 400MB/s. The D500 reaches 400MB/s read speed and includes both USB-A and USB-C connectors with an aluminum rotating design. All three drives support the Lexar App for iOS and Android backup.
Lexar claims the SL500 can handle iPhone ProRes 4K 60FPS video recording directly. The Air is said to store over 300,000 photos or 18,000 minutes of HD video, transfer a 1GB file in about 3 seconds, and survive drops from up to 2 meters. The D500 is advertised as 4 times faster than USB 3.0.
The series targets fans of the Argentina national team with its co-branded design. Lexar has not disclosed pricing or availability details for these products.
