Govee has launched the TV Backlight 3, a smart TV backlighting system. It is the company's first TV backlight to feature a 4MP dual-camera with a hybrid glass-plastic lens.

The camera uses a 1G+3P lens design and a 1080p image sensor operating at 30fps. Govee claims a 30% improvement in image clarity over 2MP lenses. The system includes 24-zone AI color mapping and an RGBWIC LED strip with 60 LEDs per meter, which Govee says is 20% brighter than the previous generation.

The device supports Matter, Alexa, Apple HomeKit, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings. This allows integration with a wide range of smart home ecosystems.
