Goppa Launches 800°C Heat-Resistant Flame-Retardant Case for Mobile Batteries

Goppa LLC has released a flame-retardant case designed to store multiple mobile batteries. The product, called the Mobile Battery Flame-Retardant Case Large, is available in Japan starting May 16, 2026.

Stores up to three 20,000mAh batteries

The case can hold up to three 20,000mAh mobile batteries. It features a 5-layer construction made of silicone, glass fiber cloth, refractory cotton, glass fiber cloth, and silicone. The case is heat resistant up to 800°C and meets the UL94 V-0 flame retardancy standard. It also complies with IEC 60695-2-11:2021 for heat resistance and JIS L1092 Grade 3 for water repellency. The dimensions are 290mm by 200mm. The case uses a flame-retardant zipper and contains no metal materials, making it compatible with Qi, Qi2, MagSafe, and Apple Watch wireless charging.

The case is available in Black, Green, and Gray. Pricing is open, meaning retailers set their own prices.

The case is intended for users who carry multiple high-capacity mobile batteries and need protection against fire hazards. Its non-metal construction allows wireless charging without removing batteries from the case. The product is sold under the model numbers EG-FR21S, EG-FR21S/BK-B, EG-FR21S/GR-B, and EG-FR21S/GY-B.

Goppa LLC has confirmed the product's launch in Japan but has not disclosed availability in other regions.
