CXMT, China's leading memory chipmaker, is accelerating its DDR5 development and has reached speeds of 8000 MT/s. The company debuted its 8000 MT/s DRAM modules in 16Gb and 24Gb capacities.
Powev produces 64GB RDIMMs at 5600 MT/s
Jiahe Jinwei, operating under the Powev brand, is producing 64GB DDR5 RDIMMs at 5600 MT/s using CXMT's Sniker-based chips. CXMT currently holds about 10% of the global DRAM market and plans to expand its share.

Chinese DDR5 modules may be cheaper than typical DDR5 modules, according to WCCFTech. The US has removed restrictions on CXMT and YMTC, enabling their entry into markets in the US and EU.
Chinese memory module manufacturers are accelerating the release of consumer and enterprise storage products powered by domestic DDR5 chips, as reported by the South China Morning Post. CXMT's breakthroughs are filtering through the supply chain, bringing domestic DDR5 closer to the levels of Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron.
