AMD's EPYC processor revenue share reached 46.2% in the first quarter of 2026, according to Mercury Research. That is up 6.8% year over year and 4.9% quarter over quarter. The company's EPYC shipment share for the quarter was 33.2%.
Data center revenue surges 57% year over year.
Overall, AMD's CPU shipment share hit 30.0% in Q1 2026, while its CPU revenue share reached 38.1%. The company's Data Center revenue totaled $5.8 billion, a 57% increase compared to the same period last year. Total revenue for the quarter was $10.253 billion.

AMD plans to launch its 6th-generation EPYC processors, codenamed Venice and Verano, later this year. These chips will feature the Zen 6 architecture and pack 256 cores, built on TSMC's 2nm process. Meta is a key customer for the upcoming processors.
During an earnings call, AMD said the value of CPU processors is being rediscovered, forecasting a compound annual growth rate of 35% through 2030. The company expects the total CPU market to reach $120 billion by that time.
