A teardown of the Sigma BF camera reveals its construction and internal layout. The camera is built around a minimalist aluminum unibody chassis. The bottom of the camera features a rubber cover.
Teardown reveals glued display and multi-layer boards
The BF uses a full-frame sensor and has a large touchscreen on the back. There is also a small OLED secondary display. The rear display is glued in place like a smartphone and can be removed with heat. Inside, the camera uses a multi-layered construction with many small boards, ribbon cables, and screws.

The Sigma BF is priced at 2199 USD (about $2,199).
The teardown was performed by Kolari, a company that specializes in infrared conversions. Sigma does not currently sell spare parts directly to end users. The company has not confirmed plans to change that policy.
