Valve has overhauled the Steam Community Market with a wider layout, dynamic filters, and improved item pages. The changes are now available in beta, and users can opt out if they prefer the old design.
New filters built from item data
The new filters are built from existing item data, allowing users to filter and sometimes search against any known attribute. Over 13,000 games now use the market, and Valve generated 27 million new images for Counter-Strike 2 items.

The beta update is available globally as of May 2026. Valve has not confirmed when the changes will leave beta or become the default experience.
Valve is seeking feedback on the redesign. The company has not detailed any further changes planned for the market.
