Hoyoverse has launched the second phase of Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.2 on April 21, 2024. This update introduces new playable characters and banners to the global free-to-play title. The game is available on mobile devices, PC, and PlayStation 5.
Rerun banners for Tribbie, Sunday, and Feixiao are also active.
The headline addition for this phase is Evanescia, a five-star character. She belongs to the Physical element and follows the Path of Elation. Her signature Light Cone, titled Until the Flowers Bloom Again, is available simultaneously through the Brilliant Fixation banner. Players can also access her banner, The Demoiselle in Charge, which features four-star characters Guinaifen, Lynx, and Sushang.
Phase 2 includes rerun banners for returning characters Tribbie, Sunday, and Feixiao. These characters are grouped under the Indelible Coterie banner. The current version content will run until June 1, 2024. Version 4.3 will begin immediately after this date.
Evanescia utilizes a dual-resource system that links Energy and Certified Banger. Players who miss her during this debut window have no confirmed date for a future rerun. This lack of a confirmed schedule remains an unconfirmed point for the community.
Hoyoverse has not confirmed the launch window for any potential future Evanescia rerun.
