Google is integrating its Gemini AI assistant directly into Chrome for Android. A new icon in the toolbar will give users access to a range of AI-powered features within the browser.

Gemini can analyze webpages, generate summaries, and explain topics. It can also interact with Google Calendar, Keep, and Gmail. Creative tools powered by Nano Banana enable image generation and modification directly in Chrome. An auto browse feature handles routine web activities automatically.
The rollout begins at the end of June 2026. It will be available on selected devices running Android 12 and above in the United States. The auto browse feature requires a Gemini AI Pro or Gemini Ultra subscription.
This update brings advanced AI capabilities to mobile browsing, building on Google's broader push to embed Gemini across its services. The integration aims to make web tasks more efficient and interactive without leaving the browser.
