Wildcat Lake delivers 40 TOPS for entry-level AI NAS

For entry-level AI NAS, Intel introduced Wildcat Lake, which delivers up to 40 TOPS of AI performance. The flagship Panther Lake offers up to 100 TOPS in its standard version, while the Panther Lake X variant reaches 180 TOPS. The Arc Pro B series GPUs provide up to 367 TOPS and up to 32GB of VRAM. Intel claims the GPU AI performance of Wildcat Lake is up to 2.7 times better than the previous generation, with power consumption reduced by 64 percent.

According to Intel Vice President Gao Song, agent AI has become a new growth engine for AI NAS, driving the transition from traditional storage devices to computing infrastructure that combines storage and agent AI. Intel also presented a full software stack reference design covering heterogeneous compute, AI deployment, and security.

The AI NAS market is expected to grow from $244.51 billion in 2026 to $1,640.54 billion in 2034, with a compound annual growth rate of 26.9 percent, according to Fortune Business Insights. Market share for AI NAS is projected to surpass traditional NAS by 2028 and reach 95 percent by 2034.
