HATOR launches a lightweight wireless gaming mouse with tri-mode connectivity and a 16000 DPI sensor for around $47 in the UK market.

The HATOR Pulsar 4 Wireless Gaming Mouse is powered by a PixArt PAW3315 optical sensor which can go up to 16000 DPI and 35G acceleration. HATOR has optimized the internal technology to eliminate input delays. The debouncing latency is around 0 ms. “We truly believe in giving the best of performance at a similar price point as other products. This is all powered by our in-house hardware and community cooperation,” said Oleg Moroz, HATOR’s Chief Product Officer.

  1. The PAW3315 is a mid tier sensor. It handles 16000 DPI fine but the lift-off distance can be inconsistent on cheap shells. I will wait for a review.

    1. Most manufacturers quote the maximum endurance achieved at the lowest polling rate and brightness. The 110 hour claim likely assumes Bluetooth mode with minimal light output. Check the manual for the 2.4g rating.

  2. They claim 0ms debouncing latency but that is a marketing number. The optical switches help but there is still signal processing overhead in the microcontroller.

  3. At least it is not another expensive RGB brick. I just want a mouse that fits my hand and does not cost a kidney.

  4. The firmware ecosystem for budget brands is usually an afterthought. I hope they release a proper driver so you can adjust the polling rate and sensor settings without relying on the onboard memory.
