Arkade introduced the Arkade Gaming Gun, which is a wireless controller that aims to link the physical world movements to the aiming of the perspective in FPS games. It's a controller for gamers who feel limited by using a mouse or joystick to mimic real-life movements. The concept of the Arkade Gaming Gun is to link the movement of your body to the perspective in the game. So it's trying to solve that gap that a lot of users feel from the common ways to play.

It connects to your PC with 2.4 GHz wireless. It works on Windows, MacOS, and SteamOS. The Arkade says it's using patented tech to match the physical movements to the perspective in the game.

So they're trying to solve what they call the "First Person Problem". They say that in the game, it'll work just how you're aiming, which means more intuitive experience than using common controllers/mouse.
The gun has a joystick on the barrel, and it has 2 customizable buttons on the stock and on the barrel. It has a touch screen built into the body. There's also 1000 LED array for the custom skins you can have. Arkade says the battery gives you over 8 hours of play time on a single charge, and it has magnetic charging.
Arkade has tested it with more than 200 FPS games like Call of Duty, Valorant, CS2, Apex Legends, and Overwatch 2. So it's very likely that you can use it for most of the first person shooters. They're saying that in internal tests, it has similar performance as high-end mice.
The pre-order price starts from 299 USD ( ~$299 ) and then the retail price goes up to 399 USD ( ~$399 ). They're going to start the production and start selling globally in 2027. So if you like the concept of this type of controller, then you have to wait for a few years to get this.

2027 is a long time to wait for a gun controller tbh. the price jump to 399 also feels steep for unproven tech
compatibility with steamos is listed but anti-cheat is the real barrier. many shooters will block this input method on linux via kernel level checks
