Intel Arc driver update delivers up to 31% frame rate boost in Resident Evil 8

Intel released a new graphics driver update today that adds support for recently launched games and fixes several stability issues. This update matters to Intel Arc owners because it addresses performance gaps in popular titles and resolves crashes that disrupt workflow. Users with dedicated Arc cards or integrated graphics in Core Ultra processors can now install the patch to improve their gaming experience.

The new software package is version 32.0.101.9150 WHQL and supports Windows 10 and Windows 11 64-bit systems. Intel made the driver available globally on October 13, 2024, for immediate download.

Intel reports up to a 31% average frame rate increase for Resident Evil 8 on Core Ultra Series 2 integrated GPUs at 1080p Medium settings. Core Ultra Series 3 integrated chips see up to a 5% boost in F1 25 under the same conditions. Dedicated Arc B-Series cards gain up to 6% in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Monster Hunter Rise at 1440p High settings.

The update also introduces support for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Zoo Tycoon 2. It fixes a black screen launch issue for Starfield on DX12 across all supported GPU series. Adobe Lightroom Classic users benefit from a fix that prevents application crashes when using extended presets in Pugetbench. Known issues remain for STALZONE, World of Warcraft ray-tracing flickering, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 performance.
