Razer has released a compact version of its high-speed gaming keyboard, giving players a smaller footprint without sacrificing rapid input capabilities. The Huntsman V3 Pro Mini 8KHz targets competitive gamers who need precise control in a space-saving design. This launch expands the V3 Pro lineup by offering a 60% layout option alongside the larger tenkeyless model.

Compact 60% gaming keyboard with adjustable analog switches and aluminum build

The keyboard features a 60% layout with dimensions of 298mm x 114mm x 37mm. It utilizes Razer's second-generation Analog Optical Switches to enable adjustable actuation points. Users can set the trigger range anywhere from 0.1mm to 4.0mm depending on their preference.

Specifications

  • Layout: 60%
  • Switch Type: Razer Analog Optical Switch Gen 2
  • Polling Rate: 8000Hz
  • Latency: 0.48ms
  • Actuation Range: 0.1–4.0mm adjustable

The device supports 8000Hz HyperPolling with a reported latency of 0.48ms. Razer claims this speed is 26% faster than competing keyboards. The analog optical switches also support a rapid trigger mode for ultra-fast repeated inputs.

Construction includes a 5052 aluminum alloy top case and PBT double-shot keycaps. The switches have a rated lifespan of approximately 100 million keystrokes. The keyboard is available in black and white color options. We previously covered the Razer Huntsman V3 Tenkeyless 8KHz Launches in Japan earlier this year.

Razer has confirmed the technical specifications and availability of the new compact keyboard. The product is now available in black and white finishes. Gamers can choose this smaller form factor for their setups.
