Microsoft may unveil new ARM-based consumer Surface devices in mid-May, according to a leaker. The company is also expected to introduce Intel variants for its Business line alongside the ARM models.
Leaker reports ARM consumer models and Intel business variants
The Surface Laptop 8 could gain optional OLED displays in a 13.8-inch size. Business variants of the laptop may ship in 13.8-inch and 15-inch sizes, powered by Intel Core Ultra X7 368H processors and Intel Arc B390 graphics. The Surface Pro 12 for Business may offer 5G connectivity from day one.
The new devices are rumored to launch globally in mid-May 2026.
The rumored lineup includes both consumer and business models, with the business variants featuring Intel chips and the consumer models using ARM processors. The Surface Laptop 8's optional OLED display would be a new addition to the lineup.
