Fractal Design Define One and Summit Cases Launch in China

Fractal Design introduced two new mid-tower PC cases, the Define One and the Summit, to expand its lineup of minimalist chassis. These releases offer builders in the Chinese market more options for compact, aesthetically focused builds without sacrificing expansion capabilities. The designs maintain the brand's signature Nordic style while adapting to specific interior layout preferences.

Fractal Design introduces two new mid-tower PC cases, the Define One and the Summit, featuring Nordic minimalist aesthetics and E-ATX support. The Define One offers a closed front panel with pre-installed fans, while the Summit incorporates wood accents for home integration. Both chassis support 7 expansion slots and front USB-C connectivity. Pricing starts at 1199 CNY for the Define One and 1349 CNY for the Summit base model.

The Define One features a closed front panel and architectural curves that distinguish it from traditional boxy cases. It comes with pre-installed Momentum 14 fans to handle airflow from the start. The Summit, by contrast, incorporates curved wood accents and solid wood feet to blend better with home furniture. Both models share a 7-expansion-slot design and support E-ATX motherboards for maximum component compatibility.

Internal dimensions and clearance limits define the practical build space for each chassis. The Define One measures 482x235x500 mm with a volume of 56.63 liters. It supports graphics cards up to 368mm long, power supplies up to 180mm, and CPU coolers up to 171mm tall. The Summit is slightly wider at 495x229x515 mm with a volume of 55.43 liters. It accommodates larger components, allowing GPUs up to 425mm, PSUs up to 253mm, and coolers up to 173mm.

Connectivity and thermal management features remain consistent across both models to ensure modern usability. Each case includes front panel USB-C ports supporting 20Gbps data transfer speeds. They also support back-connect motherboard layouts for cleaner cable routing inside the chassis. The Summit offers a base model and a version with integrated Ambience ARGB Gen 2 lighting for users who prefer visible RGB effects.

Pricing for the new cases reflects their material differences and included components in the Chinese market. The Define One is priced at 1199 CNY (around $178). The Summit starts at 1349 CNY (around $200) for the standard version. The Summit model with Ambience ARGB Gen 2 lighting costs 1599 CNY (around $237). These prices position both cases as accessible entry points into Fractal Design's premium aesthetic line.
