Panlei has introduced the WO7, a compact desktop that shrinks a modern processor into a chassis small enough to fit in a backpack. This 0.7-liter form factor matters because it brings full desktop processing power to users who need a portable machine for work or light gaming without the bulk of a traditional tower. The device weighs just 500 grams, making it one of the lightest options available for a system with these specifications.

The core of the WO7 is an 5 6600H processor built on a 6nm Zen3+ architecture. This six-core, twelve-thread chip runs at a base frequency of 3.3GHz and boosts up to 4.5GHz with a 45W TDP. It pairs this CPU with an integrated AMD 660M graphics processor based on the RDNA 2 architecture, which handles display output and basic graphical tasks.

Specifications

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 6600H (6nm, Zen3+, 6C/12T, 3.3GHz base, 4.5GHz boost, 16MB L3, 45W TDP)
  • Graphics: AMD Radeon 660M (RDNA 2)
  • Memory: 16GB LPDDR5 6400MHz
  • Storage: 2x PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 2280 slots
  • Dimensions: 130x127x46.9mm

Memory and storage configurations support flexible upgrades for different user needs. The system ships with 16GB of high-speed LPDDR5 RAM running at 6400MHz. For storage, Panlei included two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 2280 slots, allowing users to install multiple high-speed solid-state drives for large data sets or game libraries.

Connectivity options are robust for a device of this size, featuring dual 1G Ethernet ports for stable network connections. The rear I/O panel also includes one USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port, three USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, HDMI 2.0, and DisplayPort 1.4 for multi-monitor setups. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 modules.

Panlei claims the WO7 delivers double the graphics rendering capability of its predecessor, the WO5 model. The company states the system can handle smooth 4K video decoding and play mainstream light online games. We currently do not know the release date or final pricing for this new mini PC, as those details have not been disclosed.
