Intel released a new graphics driver update on October 17, 2025, specifically targeting users who play upcoming PC titles. This update ensures that systems with Intel Arc discrete GPUs or integrated graphics can run several major game releases without compatibility issues. Buyers waiting for these specific titles to launch should install this driver to avoid potential stuttering or crashes.

Non-WHQL build targets Arc and Core Ultra hardware for new releases
The update carries the version number 32.0.101.8861 and is distributed as a non-WHQL build. Intel made this driver available for download through its official portal on the same day as the announcement. The software supports a wide range of hardware, including Intel Arc B-Series and A-Series discrete GPUs, as well as Intel Core Ultra Series 3, 2, 1, and Core processors with integrated graphics.
This release adds official support for four specific games that are either releasing soon or have recent expansions. The supported titles include Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced from Ubisoft and Halo: Campaign Evolved from Microsoft. It also covers the newly released Revelations story expansion for DOOM: The Dark Ages. Additionally, the driver supports Echoes of Aincrad, a role-playing game set in the Sword Art Online universe.
Intel has not provided specific performance improvement numbers for this driver release. Users should be aware of known issues that affect other titles. Borderlands 4 and Marathon may experience crashes, while Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light can show visual corruption across multiple Intel GPU architectures. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege may also crash during upgrade if shaders were cached with a previous driver version.
The driver addresses stability concerns for benchmarking tools as well. PugetBench for Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve Studio may crash during testing. To address these crashes, Intel advises increasing the timeout slider to 1500 seconds. This update remains the current standard for Intel graphics hardware as of October 17, 2025.
