Beelink GTR9 Pro Adds 128GB RAM and 4TB SSD for $4,209

Beelink pushes the limits of compact computing with a new high-end configuration for the GTR9 Pro mini PC. This update matters because it offers 128GB of RAM and 4TB of storage in a chassis that fits on most desks. Buyers who need workstation-level memory without building a full tower PC now have a viable option. The new model ships with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which brings significant AI processing power to a small form factor.

New high-end configuration targets workstation users

The GTR9 Pro centers on the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, codenamed Strix Halo. This processor serves as the core of the system, enabling high-performance tasks within a small footprint. Beelink designed the unit to handle demanding workloads while maintaining a compact profile. The chassis measures 180 by 180 by 90.8 mm, making it suitable for space-constrained environments.

Beelink equips this variant with 128GB of RAM and a 4TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0×4 SSD. The system supports a 140W TDP performance release, drawing power from a 230W internal power supply. Thermal management relies on the MSC 2.0 cooling system, which combines dual fans, a vapor chamber, and fins. This setup aims to sustain high performance under load without excessive noise or heat buildup.

Connectivity options include an Intel E610 10GbE wired network card and a MediaTek MT7925 Wi-Fi 7 module with 160MHz bandwidth. The rear panel features two USB4 ports at 40Gbps, one DisplayPort 2.1, and one HDMI 2.1 FRL port. Audio capabilities feature an AI noise reduction chip B1, a four-microphone array, and dual speakers. Front ports include a fingerprint power button, a 3.5mm audio jack, an SD 4.0 reader, and a USB-C port at 10Gbps.

The new 128GB RAM and 4TB SSD configuration is priced at 28,599 CNY (around $4,209). Availability in China began on July 6, 2024.
