RingConn Gen 3 smart ring launches with 14-day battery life

RingConn has launched the Gen 3 smart ring, positioning the device as a direct competitor to the Galaxy Ring. The company announced the new wearable on May 28, 2024, highlighting its extended battery performance and health tracking capabilities.

The Gen 3 ring offers up to 14 days of battery life with the vibration feature turned off. This duration is double the seven-day runtime rated for the Samsung Galaxy Ring. The device includes a vibration module for haptic feedback, which supports health alerts and reminders. RingConn provides the ring in sizes 6 to 15, with a weight ranging from 2.5 to 3.5 grams. It also features 10 days of offline data storage and works with companion apps on iOS and Android.

A blood pressure monitoring feature is not yet active on the device. RingConn states that this functionality will arrive via an upcoming software update. The company has not specified a release date for this update, leaving the timeline for this feature unclear.
