is lowering the cost of its NOW cloud gaming subscriptions while expanding the platform's game library. The company is dropping the price for its 12-month Performance membership to $64.99, which represents a significant discount from the standard $99.99 rate. The 12-month Ultimate membership is also seeing a price cut, now available for $129.99 instead of the original $199.99. These reductions make the service more accessible for users who rely on cloud streaming for high-end gaming.

Cloud gaming service lowers subscription costs while adding new titles

The GeForce NOW service allows players to connect their game store accounts and stream titles using GeForce RTX hardware. Nvidia states that games with cloud-save functionality help keep player progress intact across different devices. This integration ensures that users can switch between platforms without losing their saved data or game states. The platform continues to serve as a bridge between local game libraries and remote rendering power.

Nvidia added seven new games to the GeForce NOW supported list this week. The new titles include the Embers of the Uncrowned Demo, which is available on Steam. Pro Cycling Manager 26 is also joining the service, arriving on Steam on June 15. Other additions to the library are Aphelion, Citizen Sleeper, Megastore Simulator, OPERATOR, and Super Meat Boy 3D. The newly added titles span various genres, including simulation and action.

Citizen Sleeper is available on the Epic Game Store for free from June 18 to June 25. During the promotional period, users can claim the game for free before it reverts to its regular price. The Embers of the Uncrowned Demo is already available on Steam as a new release. These additions provide immediate content for subscribers while the broader library continues to grow.

Nvidia reiterated that support for GOG single sign-in and game library integration is incoming this summer. This feature will allow users to link their GOG accounts directly to the GeForce NOW platform. The integration aims to simplify the process of accessing games purchased through the GOG store. Users can expect this functionality to launch during the current summer season.
