Inphic has launched the ZHEN, a specialized gaming peripheral that integrates haptic feedback and a built-in display into its design. The company introduced the device to the market last Saturday with a confirmed final price of 358.65 CNY (about $52.98). The ZHEN represents an initial integration of dual linear motors and a palm rest OLED display within a single gaming mouse from Inphic.

The ZHEN functions as a wired and wireless gaming mouse built around performance-oriented internal components. It utilizes TTC Cyan Dragon 100M optical switches for its primary input mechanism to reduce latency during gameplay. The device also houses a PixArt PAW3950 optical sensor to track movement with precision across various surfaces.

A defining feature of the ZHEN is its inclusion of two linear motors within a silicone-isolated dual-zone vibration architecture. The dual-zone vibration architecture enables customizable haptic feedback patterns accessible via user software. The mouse also features a 0.78-inch customizable OLED screen embedded directly into the palm rest area.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, 2.4GHz wireless, and USB-C wired modes to suit different usage scenarios. The 2.4GHz wireless mode supports an 8kHz polling rate for ultra-responsive input, while wired connections offer a standard 1kHz rate. Users can charge the device using a compatible magnetic wireless charging dock.
The ZHEN weighs approximately 90 grams and measures 127.5 by 65 by 42.5 millimeters to fit most hand sizes. It contains an internal battery with a capacity of 800mAh to support extended use between charges. The manufacturer claims the optical switches can achieve a frame rate of up to 2000fps for rapid actuation.
