Anbernic is reportedly working on two new handheld gaming devices, the RG 2DS and RG 3DS, based on discontinued Nintendo models. The information surfaced on the Chinese social network QQ, according to a leak from RetroGG.

Leaked details reveal display resolutions and design
The RG 2DS takes inspiration from the Nintendo 2DS, while the RG 3DS is modeled after the Nintendo 3DS clamshell design. Both devices are expected to run Android or Linux and feature a modern processor, USB-C, and a better battery.
The RG 2DS will have a custom main display with a 1600×900 resolution and a secondary display at 400×240. The RG 3DS also includes a 1600×900 main display with a 5:3 aspect ratio and a 400×240 secondary screen, but it will not offer glasses-free 3D.
It is not yet confirmed whether the RG 3DS will include cameras like the original 3DS. There is no information on release dates or pricing at this time.
