The standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is expected to be priced slightly over $200, making it more affordable than its predecessor. The premium Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro could cost upwards of $300, according to leaks from Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station.
Both chipsets are said to use a 2nm manufacturing process, a significant leap from current 3nm designs. Qualcomm's custom Oryon CPU cores are expected to deliver superior performance compared to ARM-based designs in competing chipsets.
