MSI used Computex 2026 to show off a special edition graphics card. The GeForce RTX 5080 SUPRIM DRACO EPIC marks the company's 40th anniversary. It stands out with a dragon-themed design.
Dragon-themed backplate and 40th Anniversary branding
The card is based on MSI's existing RTX 5080 SUPRIM SOC platform. The standard model uses 16GB of GDDR7 memory on a 256-bit interface. It has a boost clock of 2745 MHz and a 360W board power. Power comes from a single 16-pin connector.

The Draco Epic variant adds a custom backplate with high-precision metal etching and anodizing. The cooler shroud includes '40th Anniversary' text. These cosmetic changes distinguish it from the standard SUPRIM.
Standard RTX 5080 SUPRIM SOC specs apply
MSI has not confirmed whether the Draco Epic keeps the same clock speeds as the standard model. It is also unclear if the company plans a separate retail configuration. The card remains a showpiece for now.
No launch date or pricing has been announced. MSI has not provided availability details. The card may remain a limited edition or concept piece.
The RTX 5080 SUPRIM SOC itself targets high-end gaming performance. The Draco Epic edition adds a collector-oriented aesthetic. Buyers interested in the design will have to wait for further details.
