Nvidia has made the classic Nvidia Control Panel available as a separate download from the Microsoft Store. This move gives users a way to keep using the familiar interface for adjusting GPU settings.
NVCP remains useful for RTX Pro and Quadro settings
The Nvidia Control Panel, often called NVCP, remains useful for configuring features on RTX Pro and Quadro cards that have not yet moved to the newer Nvidia App. Users who prefer the old layout or need a fallback can now install it directly from the Store.
NVCP provides access to display and 3D settings that are not fully replicated in the Nvidia App. For professional users with RTX Pro or Quadro hardware, it offers essential controls for their workflows.
The download is available globally starting now. Nvidia has left the installer on the Microsoft Store for anyone who wants it.
Some users may keep NVCP simply out of habit or as a safety net in case the Nvidia App introduces bugs. The separate download ensures they are not forced to switch before they are ready.
Nvidia continues to develop the Nvidia App as its primary control software, but the company has not removed the legacy panel. The Microsoft Store listing confirms that NVCP is still supported for those who need it.
