Panasonic Announces PC Clear Light Ceiling Lights for Better Screen Visibility

Panasonic is launching a new line of ceiling lights in Japan later this month. The company announced the release for late June. These fixtures feature patented lighting modes designed to improve screen readability and text clarity.

The series includes two specific illumination settings called PC clear light and Text clear light. A brightness boost function increases output by approximately 1.2 times compared to full standard illumination. Panasonic offers ten distinct frame designs across three categories of earth colors, wood grains, and stylish patterns. One design features a cloud dragon washi pattern.

The ceiling lights are available in two sizes for rooms up to eight tatami mats and twelve tatami mats. The products will go on sale in late June.

This release targets home office setups where users spend significant time viewing digital screens. The specialized lighting aims to reduce eye strain during extended computer use.
