Edifier HECATE launched the G5M Ultra gaming mouse on May 21. The company introduced this new peripheral to the Chinese market with a focus on customizable hardware and high-speed performance.

Features patented hot-swappable switches compatible with most mechanical keyboards

The device features patented Q-click hot-swappable modular switches. It includes three different switch types and supports over ninety percent of mechanical switches available on the market. The mouse measures one hundred twenty-five by sixty-three by forty millimeters for an ergonomic mid-to-large hand grip.

Internal components include a Nordic nRF54L15 controller and a PixArt PAW3950XT optical sensor that reaches up to 42,000 DPI. The hardware supports an eight kilohertz polling rate on both USB-C wired and 2.4GHz wireless connections. A special Rampage Mode allows for a static scan rate of at least twenty thousand FPS.

The G5M Ultra weighs approximately sixty-six grams and houses a six hundred mAh battery that provides about four hundred fifty hours of use. It charges via a magnetic connection. Edifier HECATE priced the mouse at 299 CNY (about $43.89). The product became available in China on May 21 at 20:00.
