LG Announces Four Full HD Business Displays with IPS Panels

LG Electronics Japan announced four new business displays in the BF640B and BF440B series on May 21, 2026. The lineup includes two models with USB Type-C connectivity and two models without it. All units feature Full HD resolution and IPS panels designed for office environments.

New monitors feature ergonomic stands and eye care technology for office use.

The screens operate at a 100Hz refresh rate with a brightness level of 250 cd/m². They cover approximately 72 percent of the NTSC color gamut and display around 16.7 million colors. The contrast ratio stands at 1,000:1, and viewing angles reach 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically.

Spec comparison

The BF640B-B models include a USB Type-C port that supports up to 65W of power delivery alongside DisplayPort and HDMI inputs. These units also feature two additional USB hub ports. The BF440B-B models replace the USB-C connection with a D-Sub port while keeping DisplayPort and HDMI support.

Each display comes with an ergonomic stand that allows tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustments up to 150mm. Built-in speakers provide 2W of output per channel. The monitors also include blue light reduction modes and flicker-safe technology to reduce eye strain during long work sessions.

LG Electronics Japan plans to release the BF640B-B models in mid-June 2026 at approximately 35,000 JPY for the larger variant and 28,000 JPY for the smaller one. The BF440B-B models will follow shortly after with prices around 32,000 JPY and 25,000 JPY respectively. Exact release dates for the July launch remain approximate according to available information.
