Dell released three new Chromebook models for the education market on May 21. The lineup includes the Dell Chromebook 11, Dell Chromebook 14, and a convertible Dell Chromebook 11 2-in-1 variant.
New devices feature drop resistance and water-resistant keyboards for classrooms.
The devices feature MediaTek Kompanio 540 processors paired with either 4GB or 8GB of LPDDR5 or LPDDR5X memory. Storage is limited to 64GB eMMC across all models, and they run ChromeOS as the operating system.

Durability features target school environments. The laptops offer drop resistance up to 122cm and include water-resistant keyboards with Gorilla Glass displays for screen protection. Dell designed them with a modular approach that allows users to replace batteries without tools.
Screen sizes vary by model. The 11-inch standard version has a resolution of 1,366×768 pixels and weighs 1.42kg. The convertible 11-inch variant adds weight to 1.56kg with slightly thicker dimensions at 21.9mm. The larger 14-inch model provides a WUXGA display at 1,920×1,200 pixels and weighs 1.72kg.
All three models use a 3-cell 45Wh lithium-ion battery pack. Dell has not disclosed pricing or availability details for these education-focused devices.
