Warhorse Studios confirmed development of two new projects during its Q4 2026 reporting period. Two new projects announced during Q4 2026 reporting period
The company operates under a major corporate restructuring following Embracer Group's rebranding to Fellowship Entertainment. This transition will see Fellowship spin off into its own independent entity starting next year. The new structure will house Warhorse Studios alongside 4A Games, Crystal Dynamics, Dambuster Studios, and Eidos-Montreal.
Fellowship Entertainment will manage several major franchises including Kingdom Come: Deliverance, The Lord of the Rings series, and Tomb Raider. Internal reports indicate that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 achieved strong commercial success by selling five million units within its first year on the market. This sales figure exceeded the developer's internal performance expectations.
Industry observers note that Warhorse previously specialized in first-person historical RPGs. Some analysts speculate the upcoming Middle-earth title may shift to a third-person perspective despite this history. The studio has not yet confirmed specific release windows or platform details for either announced project.
