Dell Technologies has announced the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, a suite of hardware and software for on-premises AI development. The lineup includes the Dell Deskside Agentic AI, which enables organizations to build, test, and fine-tune AI agents locally.
Cost savings and performance gains detailed
Dell claims the Deskside Agentic AI can reduce costs by up to 87% compared to using public cloud APIs. The Dell AI Data Platform now supports NVIDIA Omniverse for digital twins and physical AI, and delivers up to 6x faster SQL queries and up to 12x faster vector indexes.
New infrastructure products include the Dell PowerRack, which can be deployed within six hours of arrival, the Dell Exascale Storage offering up to 6 TB/s data transfer per rack and 245 TB capacity, and the Dell PowerCool CDU C7000 providing 220 kW cooling with up to 40°C inlet water, double the capacity of 4U competitors.
The Dell AI Ecosystem Program provides validated blueprints for faster AI software deployment. The platform offers access to models like Gemini and Grok for on-premises or hybrid cloud use. Dell has not confirmed pricing or availability for the new products.
