has started selling the ThinkBook 16 Gen 9 IPL, a 16-inch laptop powered by 's new Panther Lake processors. The laptop is now available in the UK, Eurozone, and Australia.

Panther Lake processors and display choices

Buyers can choose between a Core Ultra 5 325 or a Core Ultra 7 355 processor. The laptop supports up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, which is user-upgradeable, and offers two M.2 slots for storage. Display options include a 60 Hz panel with 45% NTSC color gamut or a 120 Hz panel with 100% sRGB coverage, both 1920×1200 IPS. Battery choices are 48 Wh or 71 Wh, and connectivity options range from Wi-Fi 6 to Wi-Fi 7. A 5 MP webcam is standard, with an optional 1080p IR version for Hello. A fingerprint reader is also optional.

In the UK, the ThinkBook 16 Gen 9 IPL starts at 1099.99 GBP (about $1,465). Eurozone pricing ranges from €1,288 to €1,458, and in Australia it starts at 1690 AUD (about $1,206).

According to Notebookcheck benchmarks, the Core Ultra 5 325 and Core Ultra 7 355 perform worse than the Core 7 240H. Lenovo has not yet announced North American pricing or availability.
