AMD has released the Adrenalin Edition 26.5.2 driver for its Radeon graphics cards. The update became available globally on May 15, 2025. This software release targets users of the Radeon RX 9000 and RX 7000 series, as well as systems utilizing the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor.
Latest driver update adds day one support for new racing and spy thriller titles
The driver adds day-one support for two upcoming titles: Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light. AMD also addressed specific stability issues affecting the Radeon RX 9000 series. The update resolves intermittent application crashes and driver timeouts in RoadCraft. It also fixes texture corruption issues that appeared while playing Satisfactory on the same hardware.

Despite these fixes, the release notes list several known issues that remain unresolved. Users playing Battlefield 6 on the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 may experience intermittent crashes or driver timeouts. Texture flickering or corruption can also occur in Battlefield 6 when using AMD Record and Stream. Additionally, AMD FSR Upscaling and Frame Generation may appear inactive in the software interface while playing Battlefield 6 on RX 9000 series cards.
Further compatibility concerns affect other applications on newer hardware. Intermittent application crashes may occur in Blender on Radeon RX 7000 series graphics products and above. Users may also encounter crashes in Subnautica 2 and Marvel Rivals on the Radeon RX 9000 series. AMD recommends that users experiencing these specific crashes roll back to driver version 26.3.1.
AMD is actively working on a resolution for the Battlefield 6 crash issue on the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. The company stated it is coordinating with the game developer to release a fix as soon as possible. No additional pricing or availability details are provided for this driver update.
