Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Home Air Conditioner Powerful Airflow Over 1.5 HP in China. The unit delivers an airflow rate of 900 cubic meters per hour, equivalent to about 31,783 cubic feet per hour. It uses a wide 118 mm fan blade to achieve this output.
Rapid heating and cooling performance
The air conditioner can start heating in 30 seconds and cooling in 15 seconds. It has an annual performance factor (APF) of 6.01. An energy saving algorithm can reduce power consumption by up to 40 percent. The device supports HyperOS Connect, over-the-air updates, and a self-cleaning mode.
The Mijia Home Air Conditioner Powerful Airflow Over 1.5 HP retails for 3999 CNY, which is about $588. It is available in China starting March 27, 2025.
Xiaomi claims the unit offers rapid temperature adjustment and high energy efficiency compared to standard models. The smart features allow integration with other HyperOS devices. It remains unclear whether a version will be released in Europe.
