Crimson Desert Patch 1.07 Adds Five New Rematch Bosses and Fixes AMD Driver Crash

Pearl Abyss has released patch 1.07 for the action role-playing game Crimson Desert. The update introduces significant content additions and addresses critical technical issues affecting players. The patch is now live on all platforms except the Mac App Store.

Pearl Abyss releases update with new bosses, skills, and critical bug fixes for PC gamers.

The update adds five new bosses to the Rematch feature. Players can now face Muskan at Bonepit, Corrupted Caliburn at Fort Musket, Goyen at the Spire of the Sun, Draven the Crowcaller at the Church of West Demeniss, and Clockwork White Horn at the Gate to Advancement. The patch also expands character capabilities with new unarmed combat skills for Damiane and Oongka. Damiane and Oongka gain access to the Aerial Stab ability, while Kliff receives the Blinding Flash Finisher. Additionally, the update includes new wolf and bear mount types and adds reins for certain mounts.

A major technical fix in this release resolves a GPU crash issue that occurred with driver version 26.5.1. This fix addresses a persistent problem that affected system stability for users on that specific driver version. The game has sold five million units in less than a month since its launch. Pearl Abyss is currently exploring options for downloadable content, though the studio has not confirmed whether DLC will actually be produced.

The rapid sales milestone highlights the strong initial reception of the title. The inclusion of new Rematch bosses and character skills provides fresh challenges for existing players. The technical fix for AMD drivers removes a significant barrier for a segment of the PC gaming community. The studio's exploration of future content suggests ongoing support for the game's ecosystem.
