Hypergryph is preparing to release Version 1.3 of the action role-playing game Arknights: Endfield. The update introduces significant content changes for players, including the debut of new playable characters and the return of previous banner events. The version is scheduled to launch globally around May 29, 2026.
Captain Mi Fu makes playable debut in Phase 1 of the update
Version 1.3 marks a milestone for the series by introducing Camille, the first-ever male 6-star Operator. Camille is a Sarkaz Blood Hunter who wields a polearm and is expected to arrive in Phase 2 of the update. Phase 1 will feature the playable debut of Mi Fu, who serves as the captain of the Wuling City Watchguards.

The update also brings back the Fest of Brilliance rerun banner. This special headhunting event opens on May 14, 2026, and features four returning 6-star operators: Laevatain, Gilberta, Ardelia, and Pogranichnik. Testing on high-end hardware indicates the game can maintain a locked 120 frames per second at Very High settings with DLSS Quality enabled.
Performance testing on a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i Gen 10 equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and an RTX 5080 graphics card confirmed the frame rate stability. This hardware configuration demonstrates the game's optimization capabilities on modern PC systems. The performance data was gathered during independent testing by Notebookcheck.
A third character was teased during recent announcements and is likely targeting a Version 1.4 slot. Hypergryph has not yet confirmed the specific launch window for this additional content. The current focus remains on the May 2026 rollout of Version 1.3 and its associated character banners.
