ThundeRobot launched the Liquid-Cooled Mini AI Workstation on May 13, 2024. The company introduced this compact system as a dedicated solution for artificial intelligence tasks. The device combines high-performance computing components with a specialized cooling architecture in a small form factor.
Graphics handled by Radeon 8060S integrated GPU with 40 compute units
The workstation features an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. This chip utilizes Zen 5 architecture and a 4nm manufacturing process. It includes 16 cores and 32 threads with a maximum boost frequency of 5.1 GHz. The system also integrates 128GB of quad-channel LPDDR5-8000 memory and a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD for storage.

Graphics processing is handled by the Radeon 8060S integrated GPU. This graphics unit is based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture and contains 40 compute units. The system achieves 50 TOPS of AI performance through its dedicated neural processing unit. A custom AI liquid cooling system manages heat with a 12000mm² copper cold plate and a 1960cm² heat exchange area.
The chassis measures 199 x 199 x 199 mm and houses a 400W 12VO power supply with Platinum efficiency ratings. Connectivity options include USB4 Type-C, USB 3.2 Type-A, DP 1.4, HDMI 2.1, and 3.5mm audio jacks. The system supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, along with 10G and 2.5G Ethernet ports. An SFF-8654 SlimSAS 4i interface provides additional expansion capabilities.

ThundeRobot priced the workstation at 26999 CNY (about $3,965) in China. The company has not announced availability details for other regions. The vendor has not confirmed a launch window outside of the initial Chinese market release.
