AMD has expanded its Ryzen PRO 9000 series with six new processors. The lineup includes higher-TDP models and the first mainstream desktop Ryzen PRO chips with 3D V-Cache support.
New chips include first PRO models with 3D V-Cache
The new processors range from a 6-core Ryzen 5 PRO 9655 to a 16-core Ryzen 9 PRO 9965. The Ryzen 9 PRO 9965 and Ryzen 9 PRO 9965X3D both feature 16 cores and 32 threads, with boost clocks up to 5.5 GHz and a 170W TDP. The Ryzen 7 PRO 9755X3D offers 8 cores and 16 threads with a 5.2 GHz boost clock and 120W TDP. The X3D models include one 3D V-Cache die.
Systems powered by the new Ryzen PRO 9000 series processors are expected to be available in the second half of 2026.
The Ryzen PRO 9000 series targets commercial and enterprise users. The addition of 3D V-Cache to the PRO lineup marks a shift, bringing high-performance cache technology to business-class systems. AMD has not confirmed exact launch dates or pricing for individual processors.
