Support studio Electric Square has reaffirmed that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is still on track for a 2026 release. The statement contradicts a previous rumor that suggested the game had been delayed to 2027.

The game is a reimagining of the 1996 original Tomb Raider, built using Unreal Engine 5. Electric Square is working alongside Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog on the project.
Electric Square said it is honored to support Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog on the upcoming reimagination of Lara Croft's global debut.
Crystal Dynamics has not officially confirmed the 2026 release window. The reaffirmation came only from a LinkedIn post by the support studio.
