Hypertune Auto-Overclocking Tool Claims Up to 60% FPS Boost

Hypertune has released its Gaming Performance Engineering platform to help gamers squeeze more frames from their rigs without manual tweaking. The tool targets users who want performance gains but lack the time or expertise to adjust system settings themselves. This approach removes the guesswork from optimization by handling the heavy lifting automatically.

Subscription service offers automated optimization for gamers

The software builds on the Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) SDK and works in partnership with Intel and overclocker SkatterBencher. Hypertune founder Austin Copeland stated the team is not trying to build a tool for overclockers, but rather for those who may not know about specific settings. The platform evaluates each supported system individually before optimizing, rather than relying on generalized profiles.

Hypertune claims the utility can boost frame rates by up to 60% through automated CPU and GPU overclocking. Internal tests on a Core Ultra 9 285K and RTX 5090 showed an 18.9% improvement in Homeworld 3 and a 28.2% improvement in Tomb Raider. Systems with a Core i7-14700K and RTX 3080 saw smaller gains, with 9.8% in Rainbow Six Siege and 4.3% in Marvel Rivals.

The service is available globally now and costs $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Hypertune also offers an expert tuning service for $80 for users who want professional assistance. The company says the software is safe to use with anti-cheat software, including Riot Vanguard, Easy Anti-Cheat, and BattlEye.

We looked at auto-optimization tools earlier while tracking Intel SDK integrations. Hypertune says it offers a 7-day free trial, but our testing showed the subscription bills immediately and we could not find any offers for a free trial. The company has not yet confirmed SkatterBencher's specific involvement in the final build.
