ThundeRobot Hunter Blade 60 Controller Launches at $59 with 8KHz Polling

ThundeRobot introduced the Hunter Blade 60 game controller to help competitive players reduce input lag. The device targets gamers who need faster response times for precision aiming and rapid button presses. This launch expands ThundeRobot's lineup with a focus on high-frequency wireless connectivity.

High-frequency polling and adjustable force joysticks target competitive gamers

The controller supports an 8KHz polling rate in both wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes. Bluetooth connectivity operates at a standard 125Hz for power efficiency. This dual-mode approach allows users to switch between low-latency gaming and battery-saving standby.

ThundeRobot equipped the Hunter Blade 60 with adjustable force TMR joysticks. These analog sticks offer 12-bit resolution and a 20KHz sensor sampling rate. The triggers feature a dual-mode design that switches between microswitch and Hall effect sensors. Face buttons use optical microswitches rated for 10 million clicks to prevent double-click failures.

The device includes six mechanical touch buttons on the back and shoulders for custom mapping. An H-bridge stop grip motor and a dedicated trigger motor provide haptic feedback. A 6-axis inertial module tracks motion for additional control inputs. We looked at Thunderobot Hunter Blade 50 in our earlier Thunderobot coverage.

The Hunter Blade 60 is available for pre-order on JD.com in China. The launch price is 399 CNY (around $59.29). The regular price is set at 449 CNY (around $66.72). Shipping begins on August 25, 2024.
