Manual config edit unlocks new rendering preset
DLSS Swapper has updated its support library to include the specific files required for the new DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction model. The application enables users to manually configure these rendering presets by editing system files. This update follows earlier information about driver support for DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction.
The new Ray Reconstruction model relies on a configuration labeled as Preset F. DLSS Swapper does not currently offer official one-click support for this specific preset in its standard interface. However, the developers have provided a method to enable it through manual configuration file editing. This approach requires users to modify the internal JSON settings of the application.
To activate the new Ray Reconstruction preset, users must close DLSS Swapper and navigate to the installation directory. The tool provides specific instructions for modifying the dlss_d_presets.json file with administrator privileges. Users should duplicate the existing Preset E entry and update the value to 0x00000006 to register Preset F. After saving the changes, restarting the application applies the new rendering model.
