AULA SC880 Max and Ultra Mice Launch with 8K Polling for Under $60

AULA introduces the SC880 Series gaming mice to offer high-performance tracking at a budget price point. Buyers who want 8K polling rates without spending hundreds of dollars now have a new option in the Chinese market. The series splits into two distinct models, the Max and the Ultra, each targeting slightly different weight preferences while sharing core high-speed features.

Budget gaming mice offer high polling rates and durable switches

Both the SC880 Max and SC880 Ultra share identical physical dimensions of 116.5 by 61.5 by 38.7 millimeters. The Max variant weighs 54 grams, while the Ultra version trims that down to 52 grams. This weight difference comes from design choices, with the Max using a hollowed-out bottom plate and the Ultra employing a balanced symmetrical layout.

The mice run on AULA's proprietary AL0A Esports Chip, which enables 8K wired and wireless polling rates. Sensors differ between the models, with the Max using the PAW3950 and the Ultra featuring the PAW3955. Both models include a 300mAh battery and use Huanuo Pink Dot microswitches rated for 80 million clicks.

A TTC Gold scroll wheel provides 2 million click durability across both variants. The SC880 Max lists for 359 CNY (around $53.07), which converts to around $53.07. The SC880 Ultra costs 399 CNY (around $58.98), or approximately $58.98. Sales begin on August 14, 2024, at 19:00 in China.
