Colorful Chuanyun 60 Keyboard Launches with 8KHz Polling for Under $30

Colorful has entered the low-cost gaming peripheral market with a new line of magnetic switch keyboards that prioritize ultra-low latency. These devices target competitive gamers who need faster response times without paying premium prices. The Chuanyun 60 series introduces Sparkle NearLink connectivity, which allows for polling rates up to 8KHz. This technology reduces input lag to 0.125ms, a specification that directly impacts reaction speed in fast-paced shooters and fighting games.

Three hollow magnetic switch models bring 8KHz polling to budget gamers

The lineup consists of three distinct models: the Xuanjia 60, the Xuanjia 60 Pro, and the Xuanjia 60 Ultra. Each variant shares a negative space hollow design that gives the keyboard a lightweight and modern aesthetic. Colorful equips the devices with a self-developed 360-degree ring light screen that provides ambient illumination. The structure uses an e-sports boat shell TOP design combined with five-layer full configuration filling to stabilize typing feel.

Spec comparison

The base Xuanjia 60 model features Jinglan Axis magnetic switches and side-engraved keycaps. It runs on the Sparkle Mars 8K controller and retails for 199 CNY (around $29.42). The mid-tier Xuanjia 60 Pro upgrades the switches to Baiyao Axis and adds fog-transparent keycaps for better light diffusion. This version uses the Sparkle Neptune 8K controller and costs 249 CNY (around $36.81).

The top-tier Xuanjia 60 Ultra model includes Jiguang Axis switches and Quantum Honeycomb keycaps. It also utilizes the Sparkle Neptune 8K controller to maintain the 8KHz polling rate. Colorful describes these magnetic switches as having zero dead zones for precise analog input. All three models launched in China on August 10, 2024.
