Xiaomi has introduced a new affordable WiFi 7 router in China, the BE7200 Pro. The device features an 8-antenna setup designed to deliver strong wall penetration and reliable signals even in challenging setups.
The router is powered by the Qualcomm NPro A7 WiFi chipset and paired with 1GB of DRAM and 512MB of flash storage. It supports up to 600 connected devices and reaches a dual-band speed of 7,200Mbps.
Hardware enthusiasts will appreciate the five 2.5GbE ports included on the back panel for high-speed wired connections. The device also includes AI-powered network management features, an AI Mesh capability, child protection, and anti-hacking functions.
The price tag is CNY 1,199 (about $175) in China. While the router is currently available in China, there is no word on when it may launch globally or if it will be sold in other regions.
Xiaomi has not confirmed a global launch date for the BE7200 Pro. The product is listed as country limited to China at this time.
