Thermaltake is expanding its SWAFAN EX INFINITY lineup with a new ARGB Sync series that prioritizes flexible airflow configuration for PC builders. The update matters because the fans feature interchangeable blades, letting users swap between standard intake and reverse exhaust modes without buying new hardware. This design choice simplifies case airflow planning for those who need precise control over their cooling setup.

Interchangeable blades and MagForce 2.0 mounts define the new cooling series

The new fans utilize MagForce 2.0 magnetic mounting, which doubles the contact points found in previous versions to secure the blades. You can choose between 120mm and 140mm sizes, with each size available in black or white color options. Thermaltake sells these units in 3-pack bundles to match typical case fan configurations.

Specifications

  • Model Number (Black 120mm): CL-F245-PL12SW-A
  • Model Number (White 120mm): CL-F254-PL12SW-A
  • Model Number (Black 140mm): CL-F246-PL14SW-A
  • Model Number (White 140mm): CL-F255-PL14SW-A
  • Standard Blade Max Airflow: 85.2 CFM

Standard front intake blades push up to 85.2 CFM of airflow with 2.75 mmH2O of static pressure while running at a maximum noise level of 28.1 dBA. If you install the reverse blades for rear exhaust, the airflow drops slightly to 81.6 CFM and static pressure to 2.67 mmH2O, with noise increasing to 34.5 dBA. Both blade types operate within a 500 to 1,800 RPM range and use a hydrodynamic bearing rated for 40,000 hours of life.

The fans connect to your system using a 4-pin connector for power and speed control, plus a 5V/3-pin connector for the ARGB lighting. Each fan measures 28mm in thickness to fit standard mounting points. The 120mm models carry part numbers CL-F245-PL12SW-A for black and CL-F254-PL12SW-A for white, while the 140mm variants are CL-F246-PL14SW-A and CL-F255-PL14SW-A.

Prices in Japan start at 14,980 JPY (around $92.40) and go up to 15,980 JPY (around $98.56) depending on the specific bundle. Ask Corp. will handle distribution for the Japanese market, with availability starting on July 10, 2026.
