PixArt Clarifies Ninjutso AIMNINJA 2 Specs Don't Match Promos

Sensor manufacturer PixArt issued a clarification regarding the technical specifications of the AIMNINJA 2 custom sensor used in the Ninjutso Sora V3 gaming mouse. The statement addresses discrepancies between the company's promotional materials and the actual hardware capabilities of the component.

PixArt confirmed that the AIMNINJA 2 sensor does not utilize its next-generation sensor platform. The company also stated that the sensor lacks the hardware circuits required for FrameSync frame synchronization technology. Ninjutso had previously used the term FrameSync in its marketing, which the sensor maker corrected.

Ninjutso apologized for incorrectly using the term FrameSync and for the negative impact on Razer. The vendor clarified that its hardware-based MotionSync technology is technically distinct from Razer's FrameSync. PixArt noted that functions not listed in the specification sheet or achieved through software are not covered by its guarantee.

PixArt warned that Ninjutso's partial official promotion for the Sora V3 mouse does not match the actual specifications of the AIMNINJA 2 sensor. The manufacturer stated this mismatch may cause misunderstanding among the market and consumers. The company emphasized that it does not guarantee performance achieved via software methods.
