Global semiconductor revenue growth chart by region for March 2026

John Neuffer, the chair and chief executive officer of the SIA, stated that global semiconductor revenue is on track to reach $1 trillion in 2026. He attributed this expansion to strong sales momentum in the Asia Pacific, Americas, and China. Neuffer emphasized that this growth reflects broad demand for technology products enabled by semiconductors. The SIA represents approximately 99 percent of the US semiconductor industry by revenue and about two-thirds of non-US semiconductor companies.

The World Semiconductor Trade Statistics also contributed data to this quarterly assessment. The reported figures underscore the critical role of major geographic markets in driving global industry expansion. Strong performance in China and the Americas suggests robust downstream demand for electronic devices. These trends align with broader expectations for hardware consumption in the current economic cycle.
